TinHill Raku Pottery Art dragon lizard wall vase
One of a kind handmade raku pottery style vase, or wall art piece, meant to be hung on a wall. Can be used for flowers, foliage, or by itself. Sculpted dragon or lizard, long tailed horny-toad critter climbs around the vase. Golden, brown and black colors on the lizard pop from the bone-colored raku pot. Signed by the artist, circa 2008. Raku is an ancient and one-of-a-kind style of firing characterized by distinct crackles in the glaze. This piece exemplifies this technique on the main body of the piece.
