Turns on and spins! Lindstrom Electric Phonograph 777Tin Litho Toy Record PlayerThis 1940s-1950s tin toy phonograph was manufactured by the Lindstrom Corporation of Bridgeport, Connecticut. The Lindstrom model 777 electric phonograph is a iconic Victrola-style player with a reproducer and hollow tonearm that delivers sound through the grill slits on the sides of the tin body. While it has a 78 rpm electric motor, there is no internal amplifier or speaker. The motor is not quiet.The phonograph shows normal wear & tear from age and use. The turntable still has its blue velvet coating. While it doesn’t come with a needle, it’s easy to find the correct one online. (Be careful as needles will slowly damage your 78s.) If you play a 45 on this it will sound speeded up.Please inspect the photos to grade condition. Visually it’s in exceptionally good shape for something this old.
