This vest follows the design of the Nuptse Jacket, a heritage model that represents THE NORTH FACE in the 1990s, developed for expeditions in 1992. Recycled down, which is environmentally friendly, is used for the insulation. The outer fabric is made of resilient 50-denier ripstop nylon with water-repellent treatment, and the shoulder yoke is switched to a thicker nylon material. It employs an electrostatic care design to suppress the generation of static electricity. This is a versatile piece that can be used widely, from outdoor activities to urban use.

The size has been revised from the 2022 autumn/winter season, with the body width and length increased by two sizes, updating to a more balanced size.
