sizzling ! French Antique Jewelry 18k Vintage Earrings Dormeuse

Purchased from an antique jewelry check out in France. These are dormeuse earrings, a type that fastens from the back.

They are faceted jet earrings. They have a luster and reflect light.
Black earrings are versatile and can be worn with any outfit, so I think they are truly useful.

Metal: 18k (stamped with an eagle head hallmark + workshop mark)
Era: Circa 1900

*I have worn these a few times myself, and there were no problems with wear, but the looseness or tightness of the fittings is based on personal opinion.
