The newly-released SEABORG400J has a 400-meter spool of PE No. 4 and a 300-meter spool of PE No. 5, which was not possible with the previous SEABORG300J. Its own weight is 585g, 240g lighter than SEABORG500JP. In other words, anglers can today fish as if they were fishing with a 300-size lure, while they used to fish with a 500-size lure. The SEABORG400J can be used not only for yellowtail and Japanese common squid, but also for red sea bream, bluefish, mid- to deep-sea fish, and drop-in fish.
The SEABORG 400J is equipped with all Daiwa technologies, including the JOG power lever for cozy one-hand operation, a MAGMAX motor that delivers both torque and instantaneous power, an ATD that works smoothly and continuously, and waterproof and resilient MAGSEALED ball bearings.
