This woven piece was made by the nomadic Afghan people. It is hand woven and very long, measuring 136 inches. There are tassels at one end and two cuts where a cord was probably placed. This could have been a bridal trapping for a camel or tent. I acquired this piece at an estate of an attorney who help create a judicial system in that region in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
