This item commemorates the launch of "THE NORTH FACE EXPLORER," a fresh application by THE NORTH FACE, directed by Mr. Nomura.
I won this in a lottery but haven't had a chance to wear it, so I'm selling it.
This overcoat uses a 3-layer GORE-TEX® PRODUCTS construction, a standard for THE NORTH FACE's waterproof shells.
The outer layer is nylon, and the inner layer is a micro grid backer that is less prone to snagging and doesn't easily absorb moisture, achieving a balance of breathability, lightness, and strength.
The silhouette is based on the American military overcoat M65, with wide armholes and straps to cinch the cuffs, allowing it to be worn over t-shirts or thick down jackets. It also features slit pockets with flaps.
Furthermore, to consider wind resistance, it employs a double-breasted design. The collar adopts a trench coat specification, incorporating clean, casual details.
In addition, a hat made of the same material, which can be stored in a large inner pocket, is also included to cope with sudden weather changes.
The hat is also GORE-TEX, providing wind and waterproof protection.
