sizzling ! ANTIQUE CHINESE CANTON ENAMEL ON COPPER ROUND TRINKET BOX YOUNG WOMAN IN GARDEN

This is a gorgeous antique, hand painted, Canton enamel on copper Chinese box. This small round box is a two part box with half being the lid and the other being the bottom. The top has a colorful scene of a young woman standing in a garden. There is a fence in the back, green bushes, and a beautiful tall tree in the scene too. This hand painted scene is very well executed and shows superb details of the woman and the garden. The scene is surrounded by a thin blue colored scalloped frame. The sides of the box have a yellow and pink and purple with some blue floral design on a yellow colored background. The bottom half has a foot on which the box sits. The bottom of the box is colored in white within the circular foot and is stamped China in blue. The inside of the box is white in color with colored specs and undecorated. Just a great box worthy of a spot in your collection.
