Holbein Designers’ Gouache 12-Color Artist Set
This Designers Gouache offers great versatility to the fine artist and designer and is an excellent tool for teaching color theory. The opaque matte paint can be mixed with other colors while maintaining brilliance opacity and hue. Thin with water for a semi-transparent effect or build up a thick surface by applying dense opaque layers. Completely water-soluble Designers Gouache can also be mixed compatibly with Holbein Artists Watercolor acrylic liquid acrylic Acryla Gouache DUO Aqua Oil Colors or diluted for airbrush use. Because of its fragile matte surface care must be taken not to scratch or rub the surface once it is dry. To strengthen the surface a fixative or matte varnish may be added - note that the opacity will be affected resulting in a change in surface color.
